In with the new...

Friday night saw Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team's newest full team members formally join the ranks. Since joining the team over a year ago, they have completed training and passed assessments in first aid, navigation, search skills, stretcher packaging, crag rescue, and communications. They've also been actively involved in all team activities and have made a very positive contribution. Welcome aboard!

Funding announced for DWMRT

Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team (DWMRT) are delighted to announce the receipt of a grant of €13,500 from the Hospital Saturday Fund (http://www.hsf.ie/about-hsf-charity). The grant has allowed the team to purchase new vacuum mattresses, casualty bags, and automated external defibrillators (AED) for each of its two first-response vehicles.
