Callout : 047 - 19th June 2022 – Zig Zags, Miners Village.

At 15:48hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by An Garda Síochána to a report of an injured person with a broken ankle in the vicinity of the Miners Village. First MR personnel on arrival at the Miners Village proceeded towards the zig zags and found the casualty / group, approximately two hundred metres West of the Miners Village. The casualty was assessed and treated on scene by MR personnel, before being evacuated by stretcher down to the Miners Village. On arrival at the Miners village the patient was handed over to the National Ambulance.

Team was stood down at 16:59hrs

Duration of incident: 1 hour, 11 minutes.
