At 15:40hrs approximately Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by An Garda Síochána to a report of a walker who sustained a lower leg injury.
Initial information was for a casualty in Powerscourt but after some investigation a new location put the patient on the Long Hill road side close to a 4x4 drivable track. The casualty was treated and then transported down to the National Ambulance Service & crew.
Team was stood down at 16:46hrs
Duration of incident: 1 hours, 6 minutes.
