At 11.44 on Sunday, May 16th, Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team were tasked by An Garda Siochana to a 68 year old female who slipped and hurt her ankle while descending the Spinc. When Mountain Rescue medics got to her, she was moving slowly and in pain. The woman was treated by medics and brought down and transferred to the National Ambulance Service.
The incident was stood down at 14:22hrs.
Duration of incident: 2 hours, 38 minutes.
