Callout 95 – 20th October 2021 – Glendalough

At 15:07hrs, Dublin / Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were tasked by the National Ambulance Service for a female walker who had sustained a serious knee injury while out walking. The casualty was treated by National Ambulance and Mountain Rescue Medics and then air lifted by R116 Coast Guard helicopter.

Team was stood down at 18:20hrs.

Duration of incident: 3 hours, 13 minutes.
